Good choice of shot. As for "crisp"ing your shot, you could try a couple things:

Shoot in RAW, if you aren't already. Yes, this is post-production stuff, but you are making maximum use of your camera's hardware capabilities.

It looks like the green rings are being reflected in the lower left corner of the shot. If you have a hood for your lens, use it. More likely, if you are using a protector, UV or Haze filter on your lens for these kinds of night shots, take it off. Protector and other filters without a quality multi-coating on the glass will cause reflections with the front element of your lens like crazy. Even if you are using a high-end filter, it can still create reflections.

It looks like you are using small apertures already, so you should be good there.

Try decreasing your ISO setting, and set the camera do it's noise-reduction trickery with the D!GiC processor. I have Canon like you do, and I usually shoot night shots at ISO 100 or 200 and let the camera do work it's magic. Yes, it slows you down, but you're already shooting 20 sec exposures now. Just go have another sip of coffee and wait it out.

;-)

There's a little red X to the right, click it and it should disappear.

Excellent shot, I admire the reflection and its clarity. Great concept!

Default Assignment: streets

I took a walk this morning at 5 am before traffic increased to enjoy the beauty of the crystallized landscape and to get a picture for the assignment and this is one of two I want to submit...
The only editing i did was to take the yellow from the street light out and reduce the size.
