This is one of my favorite B&W's. It is a candid shot that was taken at a street festival in Pittsburgh.

This is a photo I took in Vancouver, BC, last summer. I selectively desaturated it in Gimp. I'd say it's "black, white, and rust"... Hope that's close enough...!

Wow, these are all great shots!
Rivetgeek I still LOVE that picture and just fall into it every time I see it.
Please remember to check the size of the images that you are displaying and try to keep them less than 600px on the longest edge. thanks!

Both of those are completely natural lighting, actually. The first is outside (obviously) with the sun just behind and to her left. The second has a window on his right.
