I'm somewhat housebound at the moment due to injuring my back somehow (im supposed to be going skiing on Saturday!) So I'm having to shoot stuff within 180 degrees of where I'm sitting!

First post. Love this site! Shot these two while on a walk down the road yesterday. I needed something to get a feel for shooting in RAW and after playing with a few photos last night, I'm hooked.

The photo with the bird isn't purely b&w, I know, but he barely stood out. Poor guy.

These are my first ever RAW shots. I was too afraid of using RAW, dont know why. Anyway quite happy to share with you guys the results of the black and white technique that I tried..
