Default assignment: "landscapes"

Honestly I was a little disappointed that we are doing landscapes now because in a few months Texas will be ABLAZE in wildflower color and it's amazing! It's been so dreary and cold here. That plus the loss of a close friend made for a miserable day. I decided to go on a photog walk with God and what a blessing. The lake was calm and glassy, perfect for reflections and a landscape. Just what I needed. Reflection time.

Bubbly, this is my favorite so far. It's a stunning picture to begin with and the texture just adds to its hope reneweng feel.

Ah yes, one of the canyons at Starved Rock. Great capture! Did you have any Bald Eagle sightings?
