Default Diana's Purple Pilloq

With great trepidation I am submitting a picture for this one. This is my daughter Diana, hugging her favorite purple pillow. It used to be her favorite sweater, and when she outgrew it I turned it into a pillow for her.
Shot in RAW and some post-processing done (like clearing up her skin just a tad and getting rid of some stray hairs). I have no idea if the EXIF data came across... I'm so terribly new at all this!

Purple Beads

Some really pretty purple glass beads my wife had lying about the house. Shot with the new close up lens I got for Christmas.

I was taking my dying Christmas tree down today and the very last ornament was a lavendar glitter ball. Then I went a little crazy in PSP.

ps. I'm joking, although often I think his pictures would be in the top picks if he allowed it; you can get your assignment passed over by NOT including "Assignment: Purple" somewhere in the post and that's cool even if it is sometimes frustrating to judge when personal favourites are discounted.

wulf, Thanks for ending my evening on a high note!

Not sure exactly, I just sleep better thinking "cooperate" in place of "compete." Not altruism, just raised funny.

Default Assignment: Purple

For the assignment:
Purple Crayon

and not for the assignment, but I saw the next assignment was "ghetto lighting", so I figured I'd include the setup I used for the shot (this obviously isn't for that assignment either):
Ghetto Setup
notice on the right, the safety light resting on some DVD cases, towards the center is the crayon on it's background and stand (printer paper), and at the bottom, my tripod for this shot (my pillow). All done on my bed (the floor)
