These were taken on 23 Nov, a few days early so they don't qualify for the assignment.

This was our first TGV ride, from Stuttgart to Paris. Made it in 3 1/2 hours, this train goes over 200mph and holds the rail speed record of 357mph.

I've been busy the last 2 weeks having had a funeral in the family; and haven't had a chance to get out and take photos. I took these June 2009, so they don't qualify for the contest. I just wanted to share because they made me smile.

Normally I use my Canon Powershot S5IS; I took these with my son's Canon Rebel~ was great fun not only watchin' them~ but getting to play with a SLR!
