The images are nice, but I didn't understand it without your explanation. It looks like you were sleeping, then you were chased by someone outside in the cold, then you went back to bed to rest or warm up. I don't get the sense of a dream in the middle panel, especially when it's the only image in color.

Thank you for the feedback. I guess I get what you are saying. Maybe I was just thinking about it so much the images just made sense to me.I did have other ideas for the middle photo but being a beginner it just didn't come out as good as I would have liked. So I chose what I thought fit the best. I put the "dream" photo in color because those dreams are so vivid and real when I have them that shooting it in color just seemed the thing to do. I appreciate your honesty. It really helps my learning expierence.

Default Assignment:Storyboards

I know it's late, I still think it's a good exercise for me, though:

Here's a thought for those of you still considering this assignment. Have a ponder about the difference between a storyboard and a sequence. I would say that a lot of the submissions above portray clear sequences but not a particularly interesting story. Three panels isn't a lot to play with but it can be done (I think the one we picked as our winner for the weekly contest did so really well).

If you submitted a piece, have a look back and do some self-critique. Do you think you managed to hint at a story or just a sequence of events? Also, if you want some inspiration, have a look at newspaper strip cartoons. Many of those have a three panel format but display brilliant story telling.

I was just looking at your beautiful pics; wondering how you are able to post them side by side. For the life of me, I cannot find a program or side where I can place my pics side by side. HELP!

Thanks!
Raregold.

Did you read the first post? That gives a link to an online program called Mosaic Maker.

As a general note, always check the first post of an assignment even if you don't have time to go through every post - it not only sets the theme and reminds you of the rules but often gives some helpful links.
