We ride on the surface of a rotating earth so we, and our cameras, are moving about 1000 miles per hour, depending on our distance from the equator; Earth is orbiting around the Sun at 67,000 mph; the Sun is moving 360,000 mph as it orbits in an arm of the Milky Way Galaxy, which itself is moving through the universe! So our camera is hauling a...., uh, really moving even when we point it directly at any subject and shoot an image at 1/1000th sec.
No - because the camera is static relative to the subject. Stand in a train carriage and throw a ball to someone standing nearer the front of the train and you won't find that it takes longer to reach them because the train is moving fast in the same direction the ball is thrown. We could be accused of not specifying relative movement but we do assume a little common-sense

BTW, we are now past 8am GMT so the contest is

CLOSED

but keep your kinematic pictures, where the camera is moving relative to the subject, coming in!

Wulf

Of course,Wulf, I was just playing devil's advocate! As an astronomy-oriented, photographer, wood worker (Jack of many trades, master of none?), I am well aware of relative motions, apparent orbits, etc.

This one looks very much as if there's a fox hanging down back of walker.

Really like the second one. How did you do that? I like the way the the colors are almost like a fog.
