This was fun. This is just a shot of the tv, I turned my point and shoot a few times as I snapped shots and this was the one I liked best.

Water Colours

Flickr: More detail about Water Colours

I created this by setting my camera on the hood of my car and driving really fast at my house that has blue and green Christmas lights. When I got close, I slammed on the brakes and my camera flew off the hood and I used my remote to capture the above image...

But seriously, it's a lava-lamp-like thing in a dark room; and I shook the camera up and down real fast.

I used a small Christmas box to get this shot. I used my camera strap as a fulcrum to draw circles with the lens. I found that I had to start circling before I released the shutter or else I would get too much "box" feel to the image. The "light" circles are from white dots on the box. I put it on my black desk blotter to let the background more or less fall away.

I call this "Burning love", or..."Love, the final frontier" (I'm a Star Trek fan). I used some red glass chips and arranged them in the shape of a heart, on top of a black cloth with wite dots (stars in a galaxy far far away...)

So this is my first submission to these assignments. I am a beginning photographer so please critique good/bad because I am all about learning more at this point. I took this picture of my guitar with a 14-42mm zoom lens. My only issue was that I couldn't get the light position just right so that the flare in the middle left would balance.

Camera: Olympus E-520
Exposure: 4 sec
Aperture: f/8
Focal Length: 42 -> 14mm
ISO: 100

Gannon - Great picture. I really like it and the light there just added to it. Keep up the great work.
