Default Assignment: Noise

Sound of Spring

Date taken: 11/11/09
Canon EOS 500D
F/16
1/4 sec shutter
ISO 400
Exp -1 step
Focal length 33mm
No flash

P.S. I've been under the impression since last assignment that this one would be about "sound", not exactly "noise". Allow me to quote ...

"Photography is such an interesting visual medium. This coming week I want you to see if you can show something that is difficult to see, in a word "SOUND." Try to find a way to take a shot that depicts sound of some kind. Can you use a visual medium to depict something that often can't be seen? "

Default Monkeying around

This shot was taken Oct 3 so it does not qualify but I had to post it once I saw this weeks assignment would be sound (though it changed to noise). I will post my offical shot later.

This is my son making monkey noises in the park tree.
