Jiminy, nope that wasn't the one I was thinking of. It actually just came to me while sitting at work. It's from The Emperors New Groove. Couzcou, played by David Spade, is a llama and tries to walk back to the castle through the jungle when he hears a fly trapped in a spider's web screaming "help me! Helllllppp meeee" and then "eeep" and then "crunch crunch" lol. Never saw the one you're referencing though.

Jiminy, was that another shot through a magnifying glass?!
I have to get me a good one if it is...I think those shots are better than most with macro lenses meant for the task! is there a certain kind you got that makes it easier or something?

rein,
If you're on a budget, $10 to $20 US can get you a temporary substitute for the more expensive Macro lens. I stuck a linen loupe over my Fuji S3100 lens and have been getting some shots I thought were impossible without loads of cash leaving my wallet. Not so. http://digital-photography-school.co...0&postcount=14 xxpinballxx, In 1988 I needed to see more detail in some work I was doing. This glass was at an art store, is called a linen loupe (for textile work, where you need to get a thread count), and then was about $10-$15. The real Macro has come lately because of curiousity. I thought adding the glass to the camera in Macro mode would naturally give the best magnification. Turns out to be counter-intuitive: regular normal snap-a-shot mode, with zoom, has changed it from one fixed Macro to the shot of the fly (which is not at the limit of the zoom!). I've also assembled a fixture that slides the magnifying part off in an instant. Very handy, and yes, it thrills me every time I see something in a new detailed way. Being able to preserve it is a bonus.

xxpinballxx,
http://www.pgiinc.com/noname1.html Here's the type I bought, but by all means look through the website for the size that fits your camera's front lens (less vignetting). Two elements seem to magnify better, and metal framed ones are sturdier. I removed the folding part to attach it in a different way; originally it was taped to the flash lid, draped over the lens. Not very convenient. Good luck if you experiment, let me know if I can help.
