pinball, your arts and crafts store should have them in the 'drawing' section. A store like "Michael's" if you're in canada is where you can find them.

Smile Movies.

Hey everyone! I'm new, and I know that the assignment is over but I still though I would share my Movie picture:

Film Production isn't always black and white.

This is a shot I took during the summer when my friends and I were making a movie using Panasonic HVX200 cameras. We also shoot on film when we have the money (which is A LOT of money, so it's rare), but digital is quick, there is no processing time (except for importing to Final Cut) and the viewfinder helps a lot. Pretty much the same arguments for film vs. digital photography.

Unfortunately my digital photograph camera is but a Kodak Easyshare Z612 Zoom and doesn't allow for interchangeable lenses or manual focus. This means I have to do all of my depth-of-field experiments in Photoshop. While I was tinkering with this one I also made most of it black and white. I really like making pictures black and white with small bits of colour.

Anywhoo, I should save up for a new camera soon, but for now my Kodak is perfect for just taking simple candid shots. Not too artsy, but quick. *^_^*

I'm glad to be here, and seeing these assignments makes me want a new camera even more!
