Wink Assignment: School Days

So here's the back story.
It was time for my old cameras to go back to school. Required reading in Ms. Tripod's classes are When I Shutter!, A Tale of Two Cameras, Panorama Art Class, The Day the Aperture Froze, Being Flexable When I Focus: F4-F8, Reflections of Refraction, Gellies not Jello: Let's Light it UP!, I am Camera Hear Me Click, and Picture Grammar in 1000 Words: How to Say in Pictures.
Of course, what would school be without a little fun and monkeying around? When is recess and when do we get lunch?
School Days for Cameras
I sure had fun getting this all worked out. Hope you all enjoy it.
Details, details, details....
Camera: Canon PowerShot A590 IS
Exposure: 0.017 sec (1/60)
Aperture: f/2.6
Focal Length: 5.8 mm
ISO Speed: 100
Exposure Bias: 0 EV

Date and Time (Original): 2009:09:08 16:08:57
May we all see the world through a child's eyes, the joy and the endless possibilities. Peace. Andrea

We're past 8am GMT (on 9/9/9 for those who love quirky dates) and so the contest is

CLOSED

(while the assignment, of course, continues to remain open).

This photo illustrates how "political correctness" in schools (and other places too, for that matter) is taking away our freedom of speech and taping shut the mouths of conservatives everywhere.

Politically Correct

Camera Model: Samsung S860
Shooting Date/Time: 09/06/09
Shooting Mode: Portrait
ISO: 100
Shutter Speed: 1/45 sec.
Aperture: F/2.8
Funny, I've never known "political correctness" or anything else for that matter keeping conservatives from keeping their mouths shut about anything anywhere!!!

This is my first post on this board.
Today was the first day of school in NYC. I watched my kids get on their buses and waved goodbye. Buses filled the streets. This bus was parked on my corner.

During salmon season on the Kenai River in Alaska the Rainbow Trout and Dolly Varden "school up" below the fish cleaning tables awaiting an easy meal. Taken with an Olympus 1030sw, (I LOVE THIS CAMERA!!!), I couldn't really aim to compose so I just kept firing away hoping for something good. I probably should have tried the video mode to catch the action.
very creative take on school days!! well done.

It doesn't matter what country one is from pride in ones country is awesome!!
