Default Assignment: Weather

Camera: Nikon D80
Focal Length: 85mm
Exposure: 1/60s
Aperture: f/4
ISO: 400
Date Taken: 8/22/2009 7:10.22 PM
Shot out of back porch of cottage in Sea Island, GA. I just slowly lengthened the shutter speed until I got the right shot. This ended up being the best one out of all of them.

Default Stormy Sunset

I took a lot of photos this day and did some post processing on them to make them look a little HDRish, but this one is only slightly brighter/sharper than the original. It was such a cool sunset! I don't know if the processing disqualifies it, but wanted to share it anyhow.

Default Not for Assignment

First post. I recently bought my first DSLR, a D90, about three weeks ago. Since I have no prior experience to photography except P&S, I took it for a spin and took my kids Eunice and Edythe to the park, while the camera was on auto. It was such a beautiful day that day, clear skies, cool breeze, with an abundance of sunshine. My kids was resting on the gazebo steps when I took the shot. Taken Aug 10, so it doesn't make the cut this week, not that this photo can compete with most of the submissions here, as they are just mostly awesome.
