Default ***Assignment: "Weather" Aug. 19 - Sept. 2

The weather has been absolutly dreadful here, I can't stand it! I happened to be in LA yesterday and after a visit to my future Print Lab I saw this as I was cruzin around. I mean the skys have been clear, it has been hot and other than the occaisional forest fire it has been horrific, well I mean the heat and is why I took this, it was around 100F

Hey it was cool, clear and if I could have got the moon into the shot maybe we could have had a bit of harvest moon.

Default "Assignment: Weather"

Lightning II

I enjoy the changes in weather and if I see that there will be clouds out during the day or a storm, I keep my camera handy. After stepping out to go to the store, I saw some storm clouds and grabbed my camera. Then a great opportunity started while walking to my car from the store. The clouds were still low and the lightning was hitting every few seconds. I stayed outside of the store for a while to get this shot.

It is very, very hot here! So my family and a bunch of friends decided to take a spontaneous trip to the beach! I know the edit on this photo and the exposure is pretty extreme... but I feel like it really helps emphasize the heat.

Default Sudden Shower

This photo was taken at Disney in Paris. It was a hot summers day and in minutes it went dark and the heavens opened. People literally ran for cover.

I posted this shot in Share your Shots before realising that the next assignment was weather and think that with the poor summer we have had in the UK this is a great example of how a beautiful day can enhamce things
