It's been a while since I posted - just moved from New Hampshire to California!

Here is a machine that I spotted at a gas station in Buellton CA - too old - but love the RED and the age. The ultimate driving machine - no - not a BMW - but still ultimate.

Spotted a few of these cars this afternoon

Here is my EXIF data:
Camera: Nikon D80
Exposure: 0.003 sec (1/320)
Aperture: f/9.0
Focal Length: 22 mm
ISO Speed: 400
Exposure Bias: 0 EV
Flash: No Flash

I will try to create a recent submission soon!

I just want to share this beautiful shot taken by a friend in the Marseille harbor (south of France). This is some kind of hydraulic crane.

Unfortunately I can not use this picture for this assignment as I'm not the photographer and it was not taken after July 15th.

Hope you'll like it.

Model: Panasonic DMC-FZ50
Exposure Time=10/2500 sec
FNumber=F5,6
ISO: 100
Flash=Off
Focal Length=56,80 mm
Taken: 2007:07:15, 09:38:34

This is my first assignment. Hope you like it, it's my granma's old oil lamp.

Camera: Nikon D40
Exposure: 1/250 sec
Aperture: F/4.8
Focal Length: 55 mm
ISO-100
Flash: No Flash
Taken: 24 July 2009

Since I'm really new to photography and also to my new photocamera (it was a gift for my graduation last week <3) I'm not 100% sure those parameters are correct. I'll improve! Hope you like it!

edit: Done, Thank you Wulf

sunnie_star - you need to include the date taken and the text "Assignment: Machinery" if you wanted it counted for the contest. You can fix your post by clicking on the edit button.

Was that 5 previous attempts to take the photo, or 5 previous attempts to launch the shuttle?
