These are not my photos - but thought maybe you coffee buffs out there would get a kick out of them.

A mate of mine is a coffee nut, his blog (http://cafe-grendel.blogspot.com) is a great place to find anything to do with coffee.

One of his little quirks is to challenge some of the local cafe's in Perth (Western Australia) to stretch their tallents of 'latte art'

here's a 'pour' that he challenged the guys at Epic to try - into a Bodum messuring scoop.

impressive

Many reasons why I love coffee very much. I drink coffee since I'm 5 yrs old if I still remember. The text inside the cup says "Inspired by nature", I think this composition explained one of the reason why I love coffee.

Default Fair Trade

Assignment: Coffee

Coffee Beans and Crumbs

As far as I am aware, these coffee beans (which I got for Christmas... I need to get on and use them up!) were not fair trade. That means there is more chance the farmers who grew them were left with little more than crumbs on their plate.

Therefore, my contribution this week is "Coffee Beans and Crumbs"; if you can get fairly traded coffee (and tea and other products) consider buying them and investing in a world where trade considers ethics and other people rather than just profit margins and product.

Default My Coffee assignment/entry

does this qualify?

(Sorry about the size - my picasa site is at the other end of this . . . I never got the hang of hosted image posting, sorry - it does click open larger, and downloads as larger still)

Yes, if that's coffee he's drinking

It is preferred that you include the text "Assignment: Coffee" to unambiguously include the picture for consideration in the week's selection but your text is probably close enough (depending how much of a rush the moderators are in).
