Hope you like them.

In my archive I've got portraits in both formats, and even a 3rd one!

The first is a "normal" one, being in portait mode (and also stealth mode, as she didn't see me taking that picture )

Vincent

I really like this one for some reason

Here's my first try at these assignments. There are a couple shots of my favorite subject...

Please feel free to provide constructive criticism. Thanks!

Okay, here goes:

Those are some of my attempts - critiques would be very welcome. I'm fairly new to photography but portraits are the things I love to shoot. Please help me get better! I still need to figure out the best settings so that the people come out crystal clear (something I've not quite mastered yet).

I like this shot - was it originally shot in b/w or was it colour? I think it would also look great with yellow/orange lighting - you know, like candlelight. It's a little grainy but in this case I don't think that matters - adds to the shot in a way... really depends on the look you're going for.

Well done none the less - sp's are very hard - I don't like mine yet (hence none have been posted).

Billk86:

Made me laugh then go "Awwwww." Your favorite subjects are terrific, and you did them proud. Way to go.
