Hi, I am new to photography and am enjoying taking random photos (of my family and friends) and being able to participate in this assignment.
This B&W photo is of my boyfriend and I have played around with the lighting to get this half tone of light and darkness. I still have a way to go in perfecting this but I am learning and understanding more and more each day. ![]() Camera: Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi Exposure: 0.8 Aperture: f/5.6 Focal Length: 55 mm ISO Speed: 400 Exposure Bias: 0 EV Flash: Off, Did not fire Date - 6th July 2009, GMT Last edited by Sui Hung; 07-08-2009 at 11:10 AM. |

Hey guys'n'gals,
Short time lurker, 1st time poster. Would like to start by saying thanks for these assignments. They really help to develop a better understanding and techique of photography. I shot this in a room with no lights. I used 2 torches aimed at a piece of white paper to bounce the light up. My entry: ![]() Camera: Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi Exposure: 10 Aperture: f/7.1 Focal Length: 55 mm ISO Speed: 400 Exposure Bias: 0 EV Flash: Off, Did not fire Date taken: 06/07/09 Last edited by crisp82; 07-08-2009 at 11:05 AM.
