Default Assignment: B&W portrait

This is my first post.

Me and my shadow.

Date taken June 29, 2009
Nikon D80
Aperture f/6.3
Exposure 1/800
ISO 200
Focal length 50mm

I have recently purchased Photoshop CS4 but have not learned to use it so the only changes I have made to this photo was to change it from color to B&W in camera.

Default Assignment: B&W Portraits

Taken on June 27, 2009
Taken with a Nikon D40 and an 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 lens
Exposure: 1/5 sec
Aperture: f/4.2
ISO: 800

Tweaked it a bit in CameraRaw and Photoshop to add contrast and grain.

Just a note: I'll be getting my studio equipment this wednesday, so I'll definitely be keeping up with these assignments more than i have previously

brookem, i like how the pictures breaks that horizontal rule. the tilt makes it look so nice.

thebubblybeginner, i like the hair blowing. it definitely adds to the picture.
