First assignment for me. I'm quite new to photography any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

It's a photograph I took of my brother at a symphony orchestra concert he was performing in.

Camera: Fujifilm Finepix S1000fd
F-stop: f/4.4
Exposure time: 1/50
ISO-speed : ISO-800
Exposure Bias: 0

I don't know how to get the image large like the rest of you could anyone please advise?

NOTE: Not sure why I have the rings on the background. I assume it is the lens, but if you have words of wisdom, I would appreciate it.
I like this as it reminds me of a "Dalyesque" surrealism portrait. Points for being artistic.

p.s. I hear that post on no willing models...there are never any 'willing' models at our house! but I'm bigger than them
It looks to me like you already know how to use your new camera. I really like the tones in this photograph and the high contrast! Your models are adorable!

I have the same camera, the Rebel T1i, and I love it! It's fast! I am hanging on to my Rebel XT but haven't used it since getting the new one.

These kids were great! Oh, to enjoy the simple things. We're sooo spoiled here in the USA!

LOVE the composition here.

Her gaze drags your eyes kicking and screaming off frame, even though they want to stare down the infinity of the tunnel.

Great work.

I like that there's very little gradation here.

Stark. The dark suit, white shirt, and white background are an interesting play on positive and negative spaces.

And an interesting pose to boot.

Nicely done.
