Awesome expression on her face and I love the light in and clarity of her eyes!

Default Assignment: B&W Portrait

Here is my shot. This is my first assignment entry. I'll put my other contesting ones up in the share your shots forum to avoid cluttering this post.

I took this in colour and then used lightroom (first time, this is going to take some learning) and made it B&W, then played with the tone variation until I was happy.

Camera: Sony DSC-H50
Exposure: 0.002 sec (1/500)
Aperture: f/5.6
Focal Length: 47.6 mm

Default Inès

My (adoption) daughter Inès in her uniform as an elderly person 'nurse'. THis was also an experiment for adding a 'negative film' look. I have also tryd to give the photo a very small sharpdepth (with PS)
My name is Jan and I am new here.

Default Assignment : B&W Portraits

I had such a hard time choosing which photo to submit to this. I've chosen this one because of the mood, the feeling, the passion, I am a firm believer of looking at a Photograph and feeling the story it's telling. So here it is my entry this week - Shine on me ...
