ASSIGNMENT: In my life

well, here's my entry (for the first time):


I just love skating with my friends, although i stink at it, and end taking pictures of them skating instead

4 of my 6 children. My daughters had these shirts made to wear to my son's football games. He says it's embarassing, we think that deep inside he is proud of it!

Here's a picture of my daughter, made this summer (the picture, not the daughter!)

I was taking photograpsh of her in this beautiful light, while she was watching a movie on my laptop. She suddenly noticed I was doing this and looked up - the perfect timing. (The shadow at the left is the back of the screen of the laptop.)

You can only enter one picture for consideration in the weekly judging (and you need to use the text "Assignment: In My Life" somewhere in the post so we know you want it included and the pictures need to have been taken since the assignment was announced... see the first post for more details) but that doesn't mean that other pictures are not also welcome.

Assignment: In My Life



I've been a bass player much longer than I've been a photographer. I rarely take this bass out but, being an electroacoustic, it is fantastic to pick up and play at home so gets plenty of practise time as I seek to hone my skills.
