I live in this house, a house in London. Well it's more of a flat, but it's cosy and full of sunshine. When I'm not in my little flat I'm out making TV documentaries, telling stories of other people's lives. So far, on my journey through time, I have been accompanied by a small pink creature - his name is Ted, and he was made just for me 29 years ago. As Ted and I grew older we decided to adopt another pink friend - his name is Andrew and he's a husband. Unlike Ted, his eyes aren't made of plastic - and if they fall out they can't be sewn back in. Today, husband and I celebrate our second anniversary. I married him in pink, his suit had pink stripes. And in this flat we all live, happy and pink.

Assignment: In My Life
She left her human body 3 years ago, so she is not physically in my life, however, I believe our connection is much deeper, soul deep.
The eyes, the window to the soul. Within the reflection of my eye you will see a part of my world, my backyard woods, parts of my home and in my pupil, if you look closely, the reflection of a photo of my mom.

Default Assignment: In my life

Katy

Tues night karate lessons. Katy is my 9 year old daughter, I'm a single father. We have been a team for the last 7 years. Everything I do, or every decision I make affects us both, so that makes her big time " in my life". She is my everything. Kinda sounds like a 70s song doesn't it.

Assignment: In my life

So, I hope this isn't too much of a stretch, but this photo I took this past weekend actually encompasses some of the most important aspects of my life.

car-2

1. This is my boyfriend Kevin, and his new-to-him car (a 2005 Saab 92x). As much as I love photography, he dislikes having pictures taken of him, which is really hard for me. Luckily, he's always game for helping me set up some tricky shots, such as driving in circles around a parking lot for 30 minutes at 15 miles per hour, just so I could practice panning. Now that's true love!

2. This photo was taken as a motion shooting assignment for my Creative Photography class. Photography is a big part of my life... it definitely consumes my thoughts more than any other hobby of mine.

3. The feeling of speed, and the wacky angle. I'm at a point in my life right now where the days feel like they're moving at warp speed, and everything is always a bit topsy turvy. At the same time though, I'm always trying to look for new angles on aspects of life.

I hope this all makes sense!
