OK we would like to see your dangerous animals.. either taken in the zoo or in the wild... The blog has an interesting post of Zoo photography... and just because its winter right now in the northern Hemisphere, doesn't mean that your local zoo is closed many stay open and its interesting to see some of the animals in a Snow/cold environment plus you donthave to fight the crowds as much
![]() this wasnt taken in a zoo but i worked in a reptile store so i was holding this little dude taken many years ago with my first digital camera a 2mp Kodak CX2400, hence the horrible noise/grain...lol ![]() and this guy taken at the Toronto Zoo with my Nikon D50

These are two photo i also used in the series i mentioned before. Neither of them terribly dangerous, but both photos i really like. Maybe because they are diferent. Not the typical Lions and tigers, although i do have them and may post them latter.
I really liked the natural lighting and contrast on these two mountain goats as they play fight. The late afternoon light was beautiful. ![]() The other one was a nightmare to shoot, i watched the whole seal show and this was the only photo i got, where i captured most of the seal in the shot. My camera has a slight delay and i kept missing him. This photo i quite like though, i feel it captured the lighthearted, playful mood alright. ![]() Any comments are greatly appreciated though as im still new here, and still new to photography. |
