On this lot a house once stood. Then a fire came, followed by the bulldozer. Now the grass is reclaiming the land.

I'm actually horribly disappointed that this assignment didn't come out a few months ago. I took this picture just after the house was torn down and the pit had been filled in:

I switched my image. I felt the first said "isolated" or "imprisoned" more than it said "abandoned."

This image is taken in the garden of a historical home in Longmont, CO called the Callahan House. The statue is about 7 feet tall and the vines are all the way up to his chin.
