Weathered as in been affected by weather.

DOH.. Too late for the contest....
![]() Meant to upload this sooner but have been busy with work lately. Anyways this is the house of the winds in Tulum. Aside from it being built by the ancient mayans and having weathered the test of time. It was recently (last month) weathered by Hurricane Dean and the huge waves that crashed into and over the house. Actually the waves reached as far as the house of the paintings which is about 100 meters further inland so you can imagine how big the waves must have been. While I was at Tulum there were archaeologists trying to restore the different buildings that were covered in salt water.
