Default Assignment: Weathered

This is my first try at posting a photo. Since I don't know how to attach the exif, I'm just typing the info. I took this photo yesterday afternoon. It shows the weathered hands of my folks. My mother is 86 and my dad is 91.

Default ASSIGNMENT: Weathered

Weathered - digital photography school assignment

Photo taken today (September 17th) with a bit of photoshop to darken up the edges. These Christmas lights have been up next door for a very long time. I think it's safe to say for years. They weren't turned on for Christmas last year. I know that for sure.

Assignment - Weathered

Weathered

This is my first time posting. I'm very new to digital photography, but I have played around with a SLR in the past.

Assignment: Weathered

Weathered Old Sole

Taken last week, when I spent an afternoon looking for shots for the assignment as a way of getting used to my new 70-300mm lens. This was up on a wall (part of an old painted advertisement) and I couldn't have got in so close at 55mm (my previous limit).
