Yesterday I was enjoying photographing a wedding, relaxing simply as a friend and guest. I walked over from the paddock where the party was, to the village hall. At the roadside was a traditional red British phone box, still in service, though clearly in need of a new paint job.

Sorry I am posting a shot from a Nokia mobile camera.

Due to severe accident my mother had a few days ago, i had to be 300km from my city in an instant so I forgot my camera.

Now, after everything was fine, and my mom being ok I took time to take a few shots of neighbors before returning to my living place.

Altitude at where the shot was taken is 2017m.

Default Weathered

This will be my first post on assignments. I submit this one because my mother and father in law have weathered 38 years of marriage and yesterday Sept. 15, 2007 they renewed their wedding vows.

Assignment: Weathered

This is the window in the east wall of the chancel at our church in Hillmorton, Warwickshire. The chancel was the original part of the church built over 1000 years ago. There has been some rebuilding and renovating in that time, but it has seen a fair amount of weather in that time. I have no idea how old the arched frame is in the picture below, it could be original, but I know it is going to be replace in the next few years. The mullions below it you can just see are much newer having been replaced in the last 10 years. So, here's to 1000 years of weathering.

Cheers

Tim

Comal Co. cemetary gravemarker

1st post for an assignment. Please be gentle with the comments!

I drove some back roads from San Antonio to New Braunfels this morning looking for suitable subjects for the assignment. I finally ran into this cemetery and started shooting away. This was one of my favorite shots.

Hope I don't have to know the name of the car? I found this as I was hiking around north of Parry Sound over the weekend.

Every picture have a story, and this one is no different, this wood was once poles from Sintra railroad, (you can search UNESCO for Sintra for research) and are today in the headers of my vineyard, they had the rails on top of them, at rain, sun for years, and are still holding the grapes that will give us the gold liquid... Wine.
