Default Fire and brimstone

We had a very dramatic sunset tonight after a snowy then bright day, giving some great silhouettes.

Oooh... I love silhouettes.

This statue was at least 5 times larger than my friend.

Here's one I took Saturday (1-27-07) of the sun and sky when suddenly a small flock of geese flew by. I just caught the last one before he left the viewfinder. It was actually a cloudy day in the late afternoon despite the appearance of a beautiful sunset, but with a little bit of editing I completely changed that. I think it could use some cropping with the dark corners, but otherwise I sorta like it. I have an ok silhouette of a goose at any rate. See the original on my flickr page.

That dot is supposed to be the moon! One of these days I'll get it figured out. If your wondering why I didn't back up to get the entire tree in shot? Well, I was at a stop sign out in the middle of nowhere. I rolled down my window to frame up this shot when a car came up behind me. So I just snapped it quickly. I kinda like it though.

Love the shot, DIGIDAVE.
Don't you just hate it when cars pull up behind you. Don't they know photographers need some space

Here is my, well probably the best silhouette photo that I've taken. It was taken at Port Douglas one morning on the beach early October of 2006. Enjoy

WoooHooo!!! Looky what I can do!!!! I figured out how to Cut & Paste the moon using Microsoft's Picture It. Then I used Nikon's Capture NX to shade the moon to be more in tone with the surrounding sky. What do ya think!
