not for the assignment - they are too old - but i spent a whole night breaking rules a while back in a bowling alley with the church youth group.

Hand held in the flashing lights of the alley provided some unique shots.

however this one of my brother in the car park is pretty unexplainable... i had the exposure set low, getting the street lights to be in direct line to the photo so there was enough light. however my brother jumped out of the shot, and this is how it came out - till find it hard to believe there's no motion blur.

Then some from inside the alley - lots and lots of rules broken

Default Breaking the Rules Assignment

I cut off the subject's head. That's a major no-no! In doing so, the eye has a hard time trying to figure out where to focus in the image. Is the subject the woman's missing face or the photo album she's rifling through?

you could just shoot in sRGB in the first place and not bother with save to web. i doubt most people really need the slightly wider colour gamut that adobe rgb offers.

i used to be a Adobe RGB only shoot in RAW NUT but recently have gone back to shooting in JPG with sRGB.
Yeah, I'm just using "save as", NOT "save for web". Can anyone read it?... :-/ anyone?

i tried--and liked the idea of taking it at a diagonal. my son, however, did not. he kept telling me,"no mom, like this..." and kept trying to fix my camera.

It shows up in light room (what I'm using now) and also in photoshop, but not on my flickr (and yes, my "allow everyone to see exif data" is allowed).
Anyone? :-(
Hoping to at least be fully entered into the contest, would like to know if I am at least eligible.
Thanks,

Hi Tony-

I wasn't able to read the exif info when I saved the file and opened it in Photoshop, but since Flickr says that it was taken on the 3rd, I'm of the opinion that is good enough. No idea why your exif isn't showing up on flickr though if you have the "allow everyone to see the exif data" is turned on and you're using "Save as" instead of "Save for Web". But let's go with yes, you're eligible.
