Brno - Czech Republic, the Starobrno pub at the brewery. Unfortunately it was not open, but usually is full of people.

Default Assignment: “In the City"

Union Square at Dusk

Taken as I was walking and admiring the scene, so I snapped this from the hip, as I didn't want to get anybody posing.

Taken with a Canon 40D with a Tokina 12-24mm, at 12mm. ISO was set at 800, in AV mode set to F/4, which gave me 1/125 for a shutter speed. I did a slight crop and a bit of basic adjustment in Lightroom (WB, exposure, a little fill light and a touch of added clarity and vibrance) to try to recapture, as best I could, what my eyes had seen.

I really like Union Square.

This is the landmark of my city. It's called the keeper of the plains. First attempt at a long exposure night shot.
