Default Assignment: in the city

I was in Berlin last week and I visited what is left from Berlin wall. Looking through a little crack in it was the only way East Berliners could see how the other side of their city looked like and I wanted to capture this feeling. Hope it falls in the category of the assignment.

Wow!! Very evocative. A city divided by a wall is not something most of us have ever had to deal with (or is that just an assumption). I like that you managed to take the photo so that there is a person in the gap. Really neat shot!

Was out on Sunday night looking for some city shots, I like this one, but may change as I have quite a few. Did a bit of post processing in PS.

Default In the city

I live in Sendai, Japan. I think it is a place where you can have the best of two worlds: to benefit from the convenience of a big city, and being able to lose yourself in nature at the same time.
