Congratulations! Sweet picture. I've been a mommy for 8 1/2 months, now, and I understand the value of sleep and when to take advantage of it. lol

Default Assignment: Wisdom

I've just finished a seven day self-portrait project with the 7Days group on Flickr. For my final shot, I pasted in copies of the other six images I had created during the week and reflected that part of wisdom is taking time to think about who you are and how you show yourself to others:

The Magic Brush

Camera: Nikon D40
Exposure: 1/100s
Aperture: f/6.3
Focal Length: 30mm (18-55mm kit lens)
ISO Speed: 200
Flash: SB600 on camera and bounced off the ceiling
Post-processing: adding versions of other images to blank sheets of paper, colour adjustments and damping down reflections on my glasses.
Date: 3 April 2009

I've had a lot of study on the Tarot, including creating my own deck, so I really appreciated this one. Truly a lovely way to depict wisdom!

I am indebted to my almost three grannygirl for this pic. I pretty well had zero ideas on this subject. Then she kindly presented me with these adorable little glasses belonging to Mr Potato Head. Instantly I thought of this little graduate bear, and we proceeded from there. I had no books to fit, so I made one in Print Shop. It is not deep or profound, but at least it is an idea!! Thinking back, I believe I made a spelling mistake....pretend I did it on purpose please!!!
