First time poster here. Not my entry but looking for feedback. After a year with this camera, I'm finally getting serious about learning how to use it.
To get this, all I had to do was go into my partners "art room". You will most likely see more of it in future assignments... LOL Tim Hmmm. pic did not upload...... |

Thank you Melinda. I had posted it on DPS before...the same day I took it I believe...March 11'th...but the way I had edited it made it less vibrant. So I started from scratch again and just adjusted the brightness and sharpness.

My 9 year old granddaughter (a creative photographer in her own right) said, "I love your house. It is so bright and colorful." It was her idea to use my favorite pottery bowls for this assignment. I had a hard time choosing between the orange tones or the blue tones. Like the way the glaze runs together on this one. It certainly is vivid!

Oh boy, I love color. I went right to it when I saw the upcoming assignment. I have so much vivid color around my house, even my hair is vivid, that it was hard to pick just one! But I loved how this one came out so much, looking like an abstract painting, that I'm submitting it! I took it this tuesday, March 17th (I considered using green as the dominant color but this pic won out) I did a little PP to warm up the color temp and sharpen the edges. You can view one size larger on flickr.

Had to dodge alot of flying beer for this but it was fun being in the pit and all... even if it was only for 3 songs
