This week i'm calling for your pictures of "Strangers" people on the street, people you don't know. Ideally you could maybe get their name or even a "one liner" from them, though this isn't compulsory.
Remember if you wish to participate in the mini contest your image has to be taken between 8th Aug - 22nd Aug 2007 with EXIF intact, ONLY ONE image will be accepted from each member for the contest but you are more than welcome to add images that are not for the contest in a separate POST!!. and Place within your post "Assignment: Strangers" NEXT WEEKS ASSIGNMENT:SEEING DOUBLE Shooting things in pairs. I came out of the supermarket earlier and saw two little dogs waiting patiently for their owner to return and as I walked out their two little heads simulateously did a 180 degree turn and looked at me expectantly....seeing double! A bloke I met in Cuba...

this is a great assignment. i know that many people have trouble approaching strangers for a pic, but I know exactly who I intend to shoot! One question, what is EXIF?

Alright. Not for the assignment, because I took it about a week ago. This is at the Blanton Art Museum in Austin. I just really liked how she made the picture.
![]() I'll have to work on getting one for the assignment.

Thank you! I was thinking that maybe I should crop it. Yeah. I think I'll do it! Thanks Brian!

Assignment: Strangers
This is a shot from a local Farmer's Market festival in Grand Junction, CO. It's the time of year for fresh peaches, and several small communities have these sorts of gatherings. I love how the old guys playing bluegrass look.
