Default Assignment: Rhythm

I went out the other day after a snow storm to take some pictures for this assignment. Unfortunately, the heavy dense snow seemed to stop everything, giving a sense of quiet. I did manage to get this image, which has a very strong sense of movement.

I really like how the siding on the house creates a sense of upward increasing rhythm, but the angle of the lines and the top of the house force the eye in the other direction.

This may be more of a disconcerted rhythm - but it does keep the eye moving through the picture.
In Boston and captured this children's climbing sculpture looking up from the 1st floor at the Children's Museum of Boston.

Default How much post production work is too much?

As far as contest entries go, how much post production is allowed?

For example, I can see fixing color balance, maybe a bit of lighting, sharpening for sure...

But if I take a photo and replace a few colors with something that is better, maybe photoshop a few extra rabbits or something in... replace the reflection in the lake with something nicer... is that still really something for a photography contest? I am not saying its not uber cool and I have done it from time to time, but I look at that more as a montage, instead of a photo...

So how much is too much as far as the contest entries go?

Just wondering...
