I would love to, but I don't know how. I uploaded to a new flickr account but have no idea how to manage with this forum with a larger picture like everyone else. Please help!

Ready for the Road

This is my first time doing an assignment so I hope I did this right. I used my Nikon D-50 Exp 0.8s at F/9 ISO 200, 300mm. The photo is a toy car. I took it today, and edited it CS2

Hi lyourman,
Click on all sizes button at the top of the uploaded picture. Then it show large picture and gives other links to "Square", "Thumbnail", "Small", "Medium", "Large". The link to respective image will be at the bottom of page.

I normally select medium sized picture URL to post here... Hope you got it!

It is indeed! This should place it in context.

A bit of shame really, considering that all the panels looked straight. It would be difficult to remove all the surface rust...

This is my first post here at the forum. The photograph is taken with a Canon 350D camera using Aperture Priority. The lens is a Tamron 28-75mm, f2.8. I've used f10 at 44mm. Added vignetting for effect.

If you have any thoughts, please leave a comment at flickr. Thanks.

That is not a problem, as long as you exercise some self-restraint. You will notice that this is a fast moving thread and if people get into the habit of "spamming" with numerous photos, many of the entries (theirs and others) will end up being overlooked because of the volume of posting. Also, each photo risks duplicating an idea that someone else has spent hours working on (if that happened to me, I would post my version any way but I get the impression that some would find it off-putting to be gazumped like that).

The primary purpose of an assignment during the first week of being live is to collect pictures people have taken specifically for it in order to develop their photographic skills. However, the threads stay open after that so, for those with lots of pictures related to the them, especially taken before the eligible period for entries, perhaps it would be best to wait until after the first week to share them? (scroll down the assignments forum for inspiration).

Hi Palachandra,

I did follow those instructions but I ended up in getting a thumbnail after choosing small size. Medium didn't workout for me.

Cheers,
Naveen
