Assignment: Transport
Hi all, Fist posting here, just stumbled across dps, and love it! I hope I can learn a lot! I'm going to post 2 photos... this first one isn't that great, but I wish it could have been.

I find it ironic that I was looking for transportation, and found this guy that was doing just that, but he couldn't do it for him self. Also, the bike in the shot was a total fluke. I think it would have been a good shot had I not been shaking. I've never walked up to a stranger and just asked if I could take a photo of them. He actually was quite nice, and I think the way had been paved already due to having a world famous photographer her for the last couple of weeks doing hundreds of photos of people.
Well, here is that one.

cabbie
And this is the one that I would like to enter.... I loved the brick, it made a great canvas, and the moped, just jumed out at me. It looks to me that it sould be in europ somewhere, but in fact, it's in lowly Pittsfield, Ma Hope you all like!

Exposure: 1/200 Aperture: f/4 Focal Length: 11.2 mm

I'd love feedback on both photos!

My virgin DPS forum post and my inaugural assigment post.

Took this shot for work a few days ago. Thought it was appropriate for this weeks topic. We replaced the advertising for our client with a visual of how their ad could look on this London bus. They seemed pretty happy, so I thought I'd see what you guys thought of it. Panning is always trial and error. Took quite a few shots till I got a handful I was happy with.

May this be the first post of many...

Default Thanks

DigiDave: My parents always talked about the little men - I always had in mind the Oompalumpas in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, which given the endless supply of chocolate- never seemed that bad. However, I'm not aware of any little white-coated men - although maybe they stay just out of sight to help my rehabilitation into normal society! I'll check out the self-portrait thread - ta.

Palachandra - ta very muchly

Thistledo: Love your name. See, who needs that old hippy adage - 'spread the love' . I believe in spreading the madness : I take a strange photo - i get strange looks - i post it - you look - it makes you laugh out loud in the office - now everyone thinks you're mad too. Ah ha, my plan is working! Soon the world will be powered with people who cycle to work on road markings. Then my job here will be done.......Yeah, i tend to agree that the answer was mental state!

Taken at EAA AirVenture 2007. I could not choose which to submit.

BTW, I hate how dark these look on a PC, much better on my Mac.
