Long internal debate with myself, but it's going to be this one:
![]() Almost a full moon. The clouds floated by quite rapidly that evening so they turned milky during the exposure. The star-shape around the moon came straight from camera (or more likely: the lens). Date picture taken: August 14, 2008 Camera: Nikon D40 Exposure: 20 sec Aperture: f/22 Focal Length: 65 mm ISO Speed: 200 More EXIF on flickr (click picture to view)

![]() seems i have misplaced the original images .. this is a 3 exposure HDR, +/- 2 ev, about 3 weeks after i got my first camera ( in July 2008 ).. eos 450D. Kit lens, shot at around ~35-40 mm. Being too new to dslr, i was shooting manual, iso 400 and wide open aperture. wanted to enter the assignment, but due to the lack of exif and/or original images i`ll just post the image hoping for some feedback. please excuse my bad english . |

It was a tough choice, but I decided on this one. I suppose the only good thing about being deployed to Iraq during the Holidays is having my camera around to capture moments like this. We all miss our families out here.
![]() Camera: Nikon D700 Exposure: 0.006 sec (1/160) Aperture: f/16 Focal Length: 50 mm ISO Speed: 400 Exposure Bias: 0/6 EV X-Resolution: 240 dpi Y-Resolution: 240 dpi Software: Adobe Photoshop CS3 Macintosh Date and Time: 2008:12:21 02:39:07 Exposure Program: Aperture priority Looking at the exif data I realize my camera is still set to Hawaii time. So in Iraq time this picture was taken on the 21 at 3:39pm. Have a merry Christmas everyone.
