Id say a christmas tree is a christmas decoration in itself wouldn't you? You don't have a christmas tree any other time of year. Its a traditional decoration that is used to add more decorations to. I might repost another picture instead so I am specifically on Christmas Decorations. I see what you mean and I was kind of skeptical posting this picture for this assignment for this reason. Thank you for you comments though and Tomorrow I might delete this and repost a new "decoration" photo

don't get me wrong... i really admire your photo and i wish i can do the same... my point was just that, light writing is not really a decoration...

Default Assignment: Christmas Decorations

Ok when I read the first post, I thought this shot was perfect. Now after looking at everyone else's warm and fuzzy entries, I almost feel bad. But it's so perfect.

So Merry Christmas, Charlie Brown.

IMGP1139

I'll be over here in my corner, waiting to burn in damnation.

Somehow lightroom screwed up the EXIF and I'm not sure how.

Here's the EXIF from my original:

Camera Make: PENTAX Corporation
Camera Model: PENTAX K110D
Image Date: 2008:12:11 14:43:08
Flash Used: No
Focal Length: 28.0mm (35mm equivalent: 42mm)
Exposure Time: 0.0063 s (1/160)
Aperture: f/6.3
ISO equiv: 200
White Balance: Auto
Metering Mode: Center Weight
Exposure: Manual
Exposure Mode: Manual

If anyone can give me some suggestions as to why the EXIF disappeared, I'd love to hear them. Although I'll probably be too busy rotting in hell for ruining everyone else's tender and soft Christmas images to win the bag anyway.

*Edit* I don't know why the EXIF poofed. Since it did though, here's a link to the unedited original in case you need verification.
