Default Beach

I don't live near an ocean but I do live near a lake. Our beach is now under water though. The sign in the picture is now totally submerged under water. I do have one of my favorite pictures of the beach. I caught my granddaughter in a wave.

Assignment: Beach

K... I'll add a second picture from the same evening of photographing to the assignment (after a bit of prodding in another thread that this was in fact pretty beach-y)

Default summer fun

Its a 2 day drive to the nearest beach, as we live in the midwest, so i thought i would send in the next best thing, my granddaughter Morgan in our swimming pool this week.

I had to rotate the image in PS to get a the horizon straight and then save to web so I lost the EXIF data but I still have the RAW file.

Cleveleys Beach in Lancashire, the wind mills in the back fround are part of a wind farm being build out at sea on a sand bank.
