That's funny & creative! I notice you're from Puerto Rico. What town? (My parents were both born in P.R.) We all went back for a visit last Christmas. I took lots of pictures.

Thanks, and it's true! I am from Aguadilla, in the northwest, great beaches!

Don't laugh (oh alright - go ahead!), but this is often how I carry my camera. Sometimes I even manage to squeeze a small (20/35/50mm) prime in there as well.

Yes, I'm on the lookout for a bigger bag.

Default Assigment: "What's in your bag?"

I can't figure out why I can't fit all my gear into my camera bag. Maybe I need a new bigger bag.

Here is what I try and keep in my bag:
Nikon D80
wireless shutter release
corded shutter release
TTL flash sync cord
SB-600 and 4 rechargable AA's
70-300mm VR
18-70mm
50mm 1.8
12-24 4.0
8 extra AA rechargable batteries and charger
2 extra camera batteries and charger
Epson P-3000 Multimedia Storage and Viewer and power cord
lens paper
lens cleaner
lens brush
pen/pencils and pad of paper
tripod
filter wallet with filters
compact Leatherman
flash and camera manuals
and
my 7-month old son - Nathan (I don't keep him in there all the time)

Default Assignment: What's in your bag?

Here it is, my first assignment...

IMG_6994

First I took a photo of all my camera gear, after all, in a camera bag you find camera gear... Not very creative I decided... So I decided to put myself in my daughter's shoes - when she wants to use my camera, this would be what's in her bag...

In the bag:
Canon EOS 10D (75 - 300mm lens)
58mm UV filter
Bead necklace and bracelet

Taken on 31st Ocober with:
Canon EOS 50D (18-55mm lens)
1/25 sec, F/5.7, focal length 55mm, no flash.
Used daughter's dresses for background material

Since this is my first assignment, if I need to give any more info, please let me know.

K.

This was the first photo I took for this assignment, but then I felt it was not creative enough...

I took the shots myself using the camera's 10-second timer. I only took two shots of each position, mostly just to make sure that the gear in my hands was clearly visible. That was the easy part. The pp was a little time-consuming but fun!
