ONLY ONE DAY TO GO!.... There are some terrific entries, it's going to be a tough one to "judge"

Good luck to all of you that have entered!

What's in my bag ? Something that blows me away .....

What's in my bag ?

Inspired by
1) the "suitcase" in the movie Pulp Fiction but made the look edgier
2) new found interest in off-camera lighting

Lens - Canon EF50mm f/1.8
Flash - Canon 430EX fired by Cactus Trigger
Date - 8th November 2008

Featured camera bag - Slingshot 300AW

Av - f/5.6; Tv - 1/200 sec; ISO - 100;

Default Assignment: What's in your bag?

Currently, my bag, the black one, holds a Nikon D40 with an 18-55 lens, an SB600 flash, a couple of booster/slave flashes, memory cards and a few filters.

The canvas and hard case have held my Pentax ME Super and various lenses, flashes, film and more film.

But, really what has been, and will be in my bag are memories of the things that I will never again see on this earth.

Default Assignment: What's in your bag?

A slightly hacked Olympus C4000Z, remote release cable, homebrew off-camera hotshoe, Minolta 1800AF flash, some light modifiers (various gels, a bounce card and a diffuser made out of a 1 pint plastic milk bottle), lots of NiMH AA batteries, a cheap tripod, a Palm Zire running CDoF and some light I captured earlier!

Maybe I need a better bag.

Default Assignment: What's in your (camera) bag?

This is my first entry So don't be too hard on me (But, feedback would be nice..)

I don't have an official camera bag so I usually use one (or two..or three..) of my tote bags to carry all my stuff and it gets used as my purse as well.
(would be totally nice to be able to downgrade to only two bags: official camera bag and school bag )

What's in my bag, you ask?

Actual camera stuff:
Nikon D70 camera (and a towel to help protect it from damage)
extra batteries and AA batteries
Compact flash card and cases
cords that are need for shutter release and flash
external Flash with accessories and the mount
(not pictured but in car: tripod)

College books, notebook, folder, paper, pens & pencils
Calender+pad of paper
hand sanitizer
Glasses and contact case (just in case...)
Bottle of water
Wallet, checks, credit cards, and keys
*Note: this is the basic must have..it changes from day to day depending on what I have to do. That's why I need two or three bags on some days

And, the most important thing that a photographer would ever want: The most adorable model!! Her name is Scrapes. And, usually she is in my bag more than my camera and books and I have to force her out to go anywhere

It was take 11 Nov 2008 in the afternoon. I used my Samsung S850 point and shoot camera. I was lazy and took it on the Auto setting with no flash and natural lighting. (is that all that is needed here?) Post: i cropped and added a soft focus on it..to blur out the outside

Default Actual Picture for Assignment

Apparently I didn't do the insert image correctly? I tried to follow the instructions on How to Post through the flicker but switched it because I used picasa...So here's the file instead..

I'm so sorry! I'm new at this..
