What a beautiful child. The eyes are absolutely amazing. Are they really that colour or have you pp'd them? Even if you did, this is an awesome photo.

Owwww... I hate getting my picture taken - as is evident on both my drivers license as well as my passport... And it seems it's something I have in common with my friends. They've dodged my camera too!
Nevertheless, I promised myself a few months back to participate weekly. Here's my self portrait in which I've tried to capture my aversion to ending up in photos myself: ![]() Date picture taken: October 25, 2008. Cropped and posterized using Gimp. More EXIF on Flickr (click to view).

My first attempt at an assignment. Minor editing after the fact, to enhance the effects of early-morning sunlight.

![]() I'm jealous of all the parents who have kids that will actually smile at the camera. This is the disgusted look I get whenever I take out the camera at my house. Sigh. Camera: Canon EOS 40D Exposure: 0.005 sec (1/200) Aperture: f/2.5 Focal Length: 50 mm ISO Speed: 400 Exposure Bias: 0 EV Flash: Flash did not fire |

for assignment: Headshot
![]() This is my first self portrait. Might be my last. I used an old trick and removed the lens from an old pair of glasses to eliminate the glare that would have been there. Taken with D300, iso 800, 1/60th. Sigma 18-200 @52mm, f 4.6. SB800 as remote flash with a paper snorkel. The Nikon "creative lighting system" is pretty cool! ![]() EXIF Data: Camera: Sony DSLR-A200 Exposure: 0.013 sec (1/80) Aperture: f/5.6 Focal Length: 50 mm ISO Speed: 100 Exposure Bias: 0/10 EV Flash: Flash fired Taken on October 24, 2008 at 8.37am AST After some thinking, I decided that I would go simple this week. This was taken on the street at night just before going to our relatives place, so our sisters in the car were rushing us lol. I'm happy with the result considering our circumstances at the time =p

He may not be smiling, but this is a great "serious" shot. I really like the angle of his head and the way his eyes are looking sideways. Also love the shirt.
