I'm back from a 4 day trip to one of the most beautiful places called Shimoga in the state of Karnataka, India. It is known for its natural beauty and scenic landscapes and rich wildlife. On the way I had the chance to visit one of the oldest hindu temple complexes-"Halebid" (meaning Old City) built sometime during the 12th Century by the great "Hoysala" dynasty. Took this photo in the temple complex known for its great architectural beauty.

I would like to say there are some really amazing photos for this assignment. The one that caught my eye the most was ACMickelson's take on leaves and trees. The colors and angle is very appealing to my eyes. So once again good job everyone.
