Default Assignment: Texture

Crabapples with texture added. I took a photo of a concrete wall with flaking paint to use as the texture. I lost the exif data when I transferred the crabapple photo to my new computer but I copied if from my old computer. The original is on Flickr with data intact.

Smile Assignment: "Texture"

Hi Midwest Sunset,

Am total newbee too, so no 'snapping' suggestions other than in post production perhaps try playing around with photoshop's color curves, in a separate layer, as a way to bring up the dimensions/contrast in your flames. Do think you have a very interesting shot w/ vrs types of textures.

I love the added texture in this pic - and it really adds to it as opposed to a texture put on just for the sake of it .....is there any way to add this type texture if you don't have Photoshop?

I agree the first is the best. Definately gets my vote.
P.S. I would move the other to a different post just to stay within the rules and make it clear which one is for the entry.
yup. Definitely need to do that! And, thanks!
