Default My Backyard

I often go out and about looking for opportunities to take shots at 'photogenic' places - but last week challenged myself to find them at my own doorstep....

Post here photos that you've taken in your own backyard.

I don't have a backyard where I'm living, but this was taken from my front patio one day while it was raining in the front of the house, but not in the back.

This is a great shot, I really like the lighting on this one.

Here is a shot from my garden...

My first attempt at macro photography, again, in my garden...

A snowy, late, afternoon from a second floor window...

wow - some great shots there. Here are a few that I've taken - mainly with a macro (because you definitely DON'T want to see any wideangle shots of my backyard :-) )

That second one is very cool, Darren. I love what you can do with a shallow depth of field.

I like your first one as well jmaziarz. That's getting down for a creative angle on things.
