Default Assignment: Morning

Morning can be very early morning as in 12:30 AM. I'm a radio amateur operator, so staying on-air until 3 or 4 AM is not unknown.

The exposure was a little long so the meter and frequency indicator got overexposed, the control labels came out though.

If you check the full Flickr Exif, the time stamp is still Central Standard Time (not daylight savings). The corrent time is 12:43 AM.

Default Assignment: Morning

I try to take my dog and my camera out for a walk every morning. Don't always make it but I try.

I took this shot of a wild sunflower (with it's back to the sun) while walking yesterday morning.

One of the first shots I've taken in RAW. Yikes! another leap with more to learn.

Default wintry/foggy morning

Camera: Canon Digital iXus 800is
Exposure: 1/800 sec @ f/4.0
Focal length: 14.333mm
Flash: Did not fire

I'll try and get a good picture *THIS* week - but as for mornings, it's hard to beat a foggy winter morning, if you're somewhere with a bit of a view... Like, say, to see the The O2 (the venue formerly known as the Millenium Dome) in London barely peeking out of the dense fog below... In this case, the fog reached probably about 75m high (O2 dome is 50mm, the steel supports go up to 100m). Picture taken from my office...
