Default Thank You WULF!

Just had to drop by and say thank you to Wulf and everyone here at DPS for the fantastic learning experience brought on by this assignment. Like everyone else I am still not certain that I 'get it' completely but I do know I am far more educated about contre-jour than I was when I first started.

My understanding: Contre-jour...
"Against the light", I just love that concept, not a true silhouette, but rather a photo taken when the camera is pointed towards or in the general direction of the light source while details of the subject are still visible albeit faintly .

So many interpretations, so many different definitions, but a topic that thanks to Wulf and DPS I am far better equiped to practice and talk about. I have truly learned a lot on this assignment so once again, a huge great big...

THANK YOU!

Do keep the pictures coming in (although, fortunately, I don't have to count any more of them when shortlisting). I won't pass much comment until after the results are released over the weekend but do plan to come back after that - it has been a fascinating and stimulating week.

Thanks for everyone who has participated both with photos and comments.

Wulf

Default Assignment: Contre-jour

i have been backpacking across china and unfortunately was not near internet in time to post this for the contest. in addition im not entirely sure this would qualify as contre-jour. nonetheless, it was a beautiful place and i thought i would add it here.
